Tararua House win Interhouse Basketball
After a slow start to the year, Tararua house are showing some of the form that won them the House Cup last year by winning Interhouse Basketball this week.
Tararua managed to have two whanau classes qualify for the semi-finals. The first semi was won by MVE, a strong Manawatu whanau class, and the second semi was a nail-biting one point win to TSW over Kapiti's best team - KAF. The final was easily won by TSW of Tararua 13 points to 6 thanks to some strong work from Namen Rautu under the hoop.
The winning team as pictured are Summer Dennison, Namen Rautu (back) Whitiora Cook (front) and Parata Kerehoma.
