Principal leads by example at Cross Country

After publicly announcing his goal of 'top 20', Principal Peter Brooks was very much a role model as well as a target at this year's School Cross Country.

Running in the senior boys race, many students as well as staff members set out to beat the seasoned runner. After narrowly missing the goal last year with a placing of 21st, it was with irony that Mr Brooks finished in the same place (21st) again this year.

Tararua house runners performed consistently well in every age group, leaving the other houses to fight for overall second place.
