Maths Week 2008

The week consisted of an inter-house "Mathletics" competition, daily Whānau class questions, and "Math Merits" to win a jar of lollies.

"Mathletics" was a mathex type competition where each house had several teams trying to answer questions, earning points for each correct question, and taking penalty runs for each wrong guess, or question passed.

Mathletics was won by Manawatu house, with a three way tie for second resulting in a sudden death playoff. Watch the outcome of the playoff in the video below...
