2008 Freyberg Cross Country

Palmerston North put on a beautiful sunny autumn day for this year's Freyberg High School Cross Country where year 9 and 10 students and the more sport seniors ran a 3-4 km circuit.

The Manawatu House leaders were notable for running in extra small sized blue doctors uniforms.

A couple of teachers showed they were still young by entering the race, however they were unable to secure any more house points for their respective houses.

House points were rewarded for participation, and also for runners finishing in the first 50 in their race. Although Kapiti managed to win four of the six races, it was Tararua who won the event overall.
